Approx. 250 g per punnet
Equivalent to $16.00/kg (or $13.33/kg when you buy 3).
Comparable supermarket snow peas and sugar snap peas typically retail for around $16–25/kg, while fresh shelling peas are rarely available.

What they are

Grown organically in Murgon and picked fresh for exceptional flavour and freshness.

Our seasonal harvest may include one or more of these delicious pea varieties:

  • Snow peas – Flat, tender pods that are eaten whole. Sweet, crisp and perfect for salads, stir-fries or snacking.
  • Sugar snap peas – Plump, juicy pods with fully developed peas inside. The whole pod is eaten, making them wonderfully sweet and crunchy.
  • Shelling peas – Grown for the sweet, tender peas inside the pod. The pods are not usually eaten—simply shell the peas before cooking or enjoying fresh.

Flavour

Exceptionally sweet, crisp and refreshing, with outstanding freshness that's difficult to match in store-bought peas.

Best enjoyed

Perfect:

  • Eaten fresh as a healthy snack.
  • Added to salads and lunchboxes.
  • Stir-fried for just a minute or two.
  • Steamed lightly with butter.
  • Tossed through pasta, fried rice and noodle dishes.

Shelling peas are also delicious simply cooked with butter and fresh mint.

Before You Cook

Wash thoroughly under cool running water before use.

  • Snow peas – Trim the ends and remove any tough strings if needed.
  • Sugar snap peas – Trim the ends and remove any tough.
  • Shelling peas – Remove the peas from their pods before cooking or eating. The pods are generally discarded or composted.

Cooking Tips

⚠️ Fresh peas cook much faster than store-bought peas. Check early to avoid overcooking.

Snow peas and sugar snap peas are best served with a little crunch, while shelling peas need only a few minutes of cooking to stay sweet and tender.

First in. Best fed.
